Host a letter writing workshop

The fashion industry won’t change on its own – it’s up to us to hold big clothing brands to account. Handwritten letters cut through the petition fatigue, and are a fun and personal way to demand change. And if you really want to make an impact, gathering a group to write letters together is the way to go.

Letter writing workshops can be casual and fun – think pizzas and music at your local bar while you bust out the coloured textas with friends. They can also be formal and informative – set to a run sheet with a presentation about the campaign and formal feedback on each letter before it makes its way to whichever CEO you’re targeting. How you run your workshop is up to you, so think about what will work best for the people you’re inviting along, and reach out to the Activist team at Oxfam if you want some guidance.
