Green Pathways: Sustainable Careers Panel and Networking Night
October 5, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We live in a time that begs for great and circumspect change in the way we live and work. To take charge of our future, our generation has to seriously think differently, innovate, reform the way we do almost everything.
Do you want the opportunity to build a career that can help reshape our world?
The Australian Youth Climate Coalition in partnership with UQ Environment Collective, Effective Altruism UQ and Oxfam UQ present a panel and networking night focused on a range of professionals who have turned their studies into creative, sustainable careers.
Five panellists across diverse professions will speak to us about their career journey, inspirations, innovations, and most importantly, give us insight into how we can learn from them and join the crusade.
This event will be fully catered by our generous donors at the local, ethical food business, Little Delish. All money raised from this event will go to the Australian Youth Climate Coalition and Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network’s For the Love of the Reef fundraiser, to help us win our campaigns to Stop Adani and fracking on Indigenous land in the Northern Territory.
