Gisborne Community Forum: Making do with less – Development and Justice.

June 19 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

MAKING DO WITH LESS — DEVELOPMENT AND JUSTICE.

Have you heard the saying ‘Live simply, so that others can simly live.”  Oxfam and the Uniting church hold these things dear. We are organising a Forum at the Gisborne Uniting Church, Brantome St. sponsored by the Adult Fellowship and the Gisborne branch of Oxfam.

Monday June 19th, 1.30. p.m. start. Three speakers, followed by discussion and afternoon tea.

The speakers are Mohammad from the Broadmeadows Asylum Seekers Support Centre and another speaker about refugees from Woodend support network. The third speaker is Jan McColl who has lived and worked in East Timor at Oecussi.

All these people will speak from their first hand experience of helping ‘those who have less.”

All are welcome to attend.
