Oxfam Adelaide University Group is a collection of students who believe that everyone is equal, and think the key to alleviating poverty is to empower communities to build better lives for themselves.
If you’re passionate about indigenous health issues, climate change, labour rights, ethical consumption and international development, you’re in the right place! We believe that raising awareness, being an activist, and supporting grassroots community-led programs is key to creating change.
We are also part of the local Oxfam Community Network here in SA, working collaboratively on tackling the many causes of poverty.
Our meetings are usually every three weeks in the University of Adelaide HUB. Regardless of whether you want to take an active role in the group or are interested in hearing more about a particular cause, you are welcome to join us!
